Midwest Builders serves 75 miles around Des Moines, Iowa. We are licensed for the state of Iowa and have been serving residents of the state for all their patio, window, siding, basement remodeling and garage needs for many years, and we look forward to doing it for years to come.
Midwest Builders, of Ankeny, Iowa was established in 1954 primarily as a garage building contractor. During the initial years, customers were requesting other work be performed by our company. Clients were very happy with our outstanding work and timeliness, so we started doing siding, roofing, and remodeling projects out of the demand from past customers. We have added other types of construction, but not without thorough research and training in each field. Today we are one of Iowa's largest garage and patio room builders, serving Des Moines and nearby areas.
“We’ve just completed a tear-down of an old, ramshackle 22×22 garage, and replaced it with a new 24×24 with 8’ poured concrete walls. From tear-down to finish, we are very satisfied with the craftsmanship of the completed project; the concrete work being the best we, the carpenters, and electrician have seen. We even had them replace our old, cracked driveway as well.This was a major investment for us, and we needed a lot of hand-holding!
